Welcome to one of the cutest little treasures in Austin, Texas.
The Eastside Cafe is such a lovely place, peaceful and great tasting place. The location of this little home is a bit hidden, so don’t drive too fast because you’ll miss it!
What I love about this place is that it is in a home. A cozy, warm, inviting home. The ambiance hits you as soon as you walk in. Sweet people greeted me then showed us to our seat. It is a smaller place so the parking was a bit hard. Thankfully, David really knows how to park.
They have different menus for different times and days so be sure to check out the website before you go!

David and I just missed Brunch on Saturday but the food was still amazing. I ordered the Sesame Catfish and David ordered the Eastside Fried Shrimp with Apricot Brown Butter Sauce. Sounds snazzy huh? It came with a choice of soup and side. Along with these plates, they also have gluten free and vegetarian items.
They also have great drinks and great specials! I tried a Lemosa and David got Elaine’s Frozen Lemonade. They were both great choices!
This cafe is a super thumbs up! We plan to go back here again and try out their brunch!
