Cirque du Soleil Kooza

September 25, 2015 was one for the books. It all started about two months ago when I received a notification that Cirque du Soleil was coming to town. I’m subscribed to email notifications for the Austin 360 theatre. When this notification came, I jumped on the opportunity right away. Without any hesitation, I called David’s mom. (aka momma #2). She instantly got on board. She also informed us that her friend, Angela, would be traveling from Los Angeles to join us. (and boy oh boy was she great!) We started off the night with revealing the results of Mocha’s actual DNA (for those who don’t know Mocha and her story, you will soon). Wine and a fabulous dinner (that will be up here soon too!) patience young grass hoppers. Then we were on our way.
For those who do not know what Cirque du Soleil is, in my best words, its a concert, circus and theatre play. You experience live music with singers, circus acts with a huge twist and great costumes and dancing. Each show has a different themes. I experienced Kooza.

Kooza was about a young boy trying to find his way in the world. This show was one of my greatest experiences. The costumes, music and performances were breath taking. I spent majority of the show on the edge of my seat. My anxiety was playing a huge role when certain acts were being done. Every single act kept you entertained.

No photos were allowed and me being me (a very bad liar and even more terrible at hiding things) didn’t even chance that. These are some photos that I found on Google. Although these are amazing, these photos don’t quite give it justice.

Amazing is an understatement. Being able to put this experience in words is extremely hard, but I think that’s the best part. My memories of this day will last me a lifetime.

I would like to add, Angela was absolutely fabulous and I definitely feel a trip to LA will be in the near future.

A huge thank you to David, Angela, Momma #2, and Cirque du Soleil.

Love always,
smaigon
